Since I wrote a Howto for installing Laconica on Debian Lenny, I thought I'd demonstrate that it works :)

So I've installed Migroblog :), and I'm going to run all my tweets through my own Laconica installation. The tweets will replicate out to my Twitter account, which is where people follow me. I can also follow people from Identi.ca on my Laconica installation, accomplishing that 'autonomous network' of open microblogging nodes. Cool :)

On top of that, I installed the Twitter module for Drupal, which allows syndication of my statuses on my Drupal site (see block in the left sidebar), as well as allowing me to post an update to my Migroblog when I publish a node in Drupal (which will in turn propagate to Twitter). This is because Laconica features a Twitter-compatable API

This post will actually test that last fact.

Connectified!

P.S feel free to register to my Migroblog, or if you're running your own Laconica installation, follow me.
